So PVE characters are really important then? Like you can not just play a PVP char without doing the story mode? gee guys thanks a lot.. I'll try the gme trial when i get home and decide whether to buy it.

PvE characters are important only if you want to play the story mode. If all you want to do is PvP then there is nothing wrong with that. It just depends on your play style.

If you are enjoying Nightfall then you will enjoy the other three games without a doubt (more than likely). You are able to bring your current nightfall over to factions or prophecies if you wish to complete the story mode of those campaigns if you wish to do so.

Just because there's GW2 doesn't mean it will be better than GW1. I don't know why everyone assumes that. I've heard a lot about GW2 and am sceptical about many things. We will see.

My Athlon1600 can run it with max graphics

Only noticable thing is usually loading outposts and towns because my RAM is lower too.
